I just wanted to find an excuse to use this gif here 🤪, but um…yah, no, it’s not weird or suspicious to revamp my website.
A new year means a new exciting start, amirite!
What Does this Website Revamp mean?
Here is what I am envisioning for the website.
Already Existing Content Will Stay the Same
The content is not going away—actually, it’s going to stay so that one day when I’m famous I can come back here and reminisce about the work that I did.
Hah, I’m just kidding (although I’m kind of not…I mean what if I did end up being famous ya know?).
The Website Revamp = Rebranding
If you don’t already know, the description of InMyTwenties is “A community that helps women in their twenties navigate and teaches them how to better handle their finance and make better lifestyle and career choices.”
For the rebranding, InMyTwenties will no longer be focusing on “lifestyle.”
Your girl knows nothing about lifestyle choices so why is she even including this on her website?
I don’t know.
Which is why I will be removing this from my description.
I haven’t finalized the details of the rebrand, but the website revamp will focus on two primary topics only: finance and career.
The Website Will Look a Bit Different
I will be moving away from the current theme.
The current theme looks very nice, but it is very limited.
For example, I can’t even add a hero image because the top articles are pinned to the top of the page.
I’m excited to exercise my Divi web design skills to bring an improved and seamless website experience to my viewers and users.
Get excited to see the revamped website.
K, that’s all I have right now.
Catch you all on the flip side!
