Don’t people just love blog income reports?

I do!

And today, I want to do an update on how much I’ve made since I started blogging.

I started this blog on November 15, 2021, so it’s officially been four months and six daysβ€”and here’s how much I’ve made.

What Is My Blog Income so Far

A big fat zero.

That’s right.

So far this year, my blog income is nada. Zero. Zilch.

Hm…I wonder how much words I can use and still mean the same thing?

Yes, I know this number sucks.

But that’s not all! In these past four months, not only have I earned a $0, I’ve also:

  • Been rejected for two affiliate marketing programs, Google Adsense and Skimlinks.
  • Accepted by two affiliate marketing programs, Bluehost and Themes Kingdom.

Like any good affiliate, I will now tell you that the two links above are affiliate links. If you click on them and successfully make a purchase, I will earn a commission. Of course, this comes at no extra cost to you.

Haters will think I’m lying, so here’s proof.

Of my rejection emails.

Yeah, Google.

It’s not like I wanted to be part of your affiliate program anyway. πŸ™„

And Skimlink.

Please notice me senpai. πŸ™‡β€β™€οΈ

If you do not understand this pop culture reference, look up Buku no Pico.

LMAO. I’m just kidding. πŸ˜‚

I don’t know why I put that in there.

Please do not look up Boku No Pico. I’m into anime, but to this day I still don’t understand what this is in reference, too.

I picked it up on Tik Tok.

If anyone’s going to blame, me, please blame Tik Tok.

In any case, I digress.

Like I said, I’ve been rejected twice.

But I don’t have any beef with this because I’ve done zero marketing on my blog.

I expected this kind of result.

These past four months, I’ve only been blogging and blogging; I’ve been creating content on my site.

Here are some of my top performing blog posts:

But between now and the upcoming months, I’m going to be focusing on steps that will help me grow my blog income.

Since I’ve created a routine of posting weekly on my blog, I am now transitioning to actually marketing my blog.

I’ve finally started investing in my blog!

How Much Money I’ve Spent On My Blog

As I said, my blog income so far this year was $0.

And so far this year, this is how much money I’ve spent on my blog.

So…I’m -$1,252.22.

I don’t consider this a negative at all if I’m investing in my blog.

I want to make back the $698.92 that I invested into Create and Go’s Pro Blogger Bundle. Psst, I am not an affiliate of their program yet, so I can’t link to them or anything.

Once I am an affiliate, I will come back and fix this link to contain affiliate link.

Next Steps I Will Take to Increase My Blog Income

The next big steps of this blog is this.

  1. Start promoting this blog on Pinterest to bring traffic to my site so I can increase the income on my blog.
  2. Complete the Create and Go Pro Blogger course. I plan to do a review once I am complete. There are currently three courses in this bundle and I am at 80% done with the first course.
  3. Make money on the blog and make back how much I’ve spent to date!
